In this lecture, Bruno provides an introduction to DBT (Data Build Tool) and discuss its key features. He share my personal experience as a DBT certified professional and a former student of the V2 Bootcamp. He explains how DBT differs from cloud data warehouses like BigQuery and Snowflake, and highlight its SQL-first approach and support for transformation pipelines. He also touches upon topics such as models, tests (including data tests and unit tests), sources, seeds, and snapshots.
